Brief
To produce an inspiring, documentary-style video about Vet Science student Jackson Conaty.
Audience
Potential future students interested in enrolling into veterinary science.
Solution
We interviewed Jackson as he discussed his experiences of university life and his plans to become a vet. We edited together the interview footage along with b-roll footage we shot of Jackson at the university interacting with fellow students and with a variety of animals.
Result
The video was a huge success: it received over 120,000 organic views on YouTube, and high school students expressed how inspirational it was for them. Aside from being a successful promotional tool, the video has served as an archival piece: we since produced a second video documenting some changes in Jackson’s university career. (Spoiler alert: he went on to undertake a doctorate!)
