We are absolutely thrilled to be named a finalist in the 2018 Sydney City Regional Business Awards!
It’s been a lot of work running the business, and – like any labour of love -, sometimes we forget to step outside and take stock of our own achievements. For us personally, we are usually behind the camera or the computer, so it’s a refreshing change to be out in front.
We are grateful for this acknowledgement, and especially grateful to our wonderful clients for giving us the opportunity to produce the work that we have. Thanks to this work we have been named a finalist in the following categories:
- Excellence in Innovation
- Excellence in Small Business
- Outstanding Business Leader (our Director Business Development, Daisy De Windt)
- Outstanding Young Entrepreneur (our Director, Jack McGrath).
As with any milestone and indeed any experience, there are a number of lessons learned along the way. With this milestone we learned four key lessons.
- Our clients are key to our success. We have the opportunity, daily, to work with thought leaders who are committed to making a positive difference in this world. We are honoured to be a part of this vision.
- We need to make the time to step outside and take stock of where we are. Take stock of the challenges we have faced, the learnings gained, and our achievements.
- Consistency is key. Working hard every day, all year.
- Step up. Be proud of your accomplishments and share your joy with others.
We will soon find out whether we win in any category. Whatever comes next though, one thing is certain: we are already so grateful to be where we are, right now.
