We are an award-winning, full-service animation and video production company committed to advancing knowledge through the powerful medium of video.

Conceptavision was founded in 2012 and is independently owned and operated by filmmaker and animator, Jack McGrath and his partner Daisy De Windt, who is a health communications expert. They work with a team of qualified experts from the film and animation industries. Their passion for working with thought leaders to transform their knowledge into digestible, engaging content has driven the Conceptavision team to collaborate with a growing portfolio of world-leading universities and research organisations. At Conceptavision, we firmly believe that when we work together to bring knowledge to the wider population, the benefits for our world are limitless. 

Conceptavision was founded in 2012 by filmmaker and animator, Jack McGrath. Jack’s partner Daisy De Windt joined the business a few years later and together, they transformed what began as a simple freelancer business, to what is now a successful company.

The Founders

Jack McGrath

Jack is a stop-motion animator, academic, lecturer, filmmaker and an approved drone (UAV) operator. He is a PhD candidate with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and he completed the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons I) and Master of Fine Arts at Sydney College of the Arts. Jack has been educating students for over 15 years, consequently having a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively share knowledge. Jack specialises in stop-motion animation, narrative storytelling and the language of film. He is a regular panellist at international animation conferences, and exhibits artwork locally and internationally.

Daisy De Windt

Daisy has over 20 years of experience communicating health information with a range of audiences including health care professionals, patients and the public. She is also a video producer, video editor, medical writer and scriptwriter. She has worked in clinical research, health promotion, health education and medical writing and is also a certified project manager (PRINCE2 and CAPM). Daisy completed the degree of Biomedical Science and Business at the University of Technology Sydney, the Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology, and she also completed the Master of Health Law at the University of Sydney.
