Video is a powerful medium that engages with people on a deeper level than through text or images alone.
By harnessing the power of video, researchers can spread information far wider and deeper than through traditional modes of information dissemination such as journal articles, brochures or blogs.
We recently ran a public workshop for Inspiring Australia NSW, in which we taught researchers and scientists tips and tricks in how to make their events go further by producing video using smart devices. Not all researchers have budget or time to produce professional video, but there are plenty of ways to document your knowledge and disseminate it to more people with technology you already have available.
The workshop was live-streamed and you can access the recording (and slides) at this link.
If you ever have questions about the technology and how to use it to spread your knowledge, contact us any time.
